What are Member Benefits?
Member Benefits are automatic discounts and special perks that are applied to customer purchases based on their pack or subscription status. Think of them as a thank you for being a valued customer! These benefits are applied automatically when making purchases, whether through the online service store or in person at a venue.
How Do Member Benefits Work?
When a customer has an active pack or subscription, our system automatically:
Recognises their pack or subscription status when they're shopping or booking.
Applies relevant discounts to eligible items in the basket/cart.
Displays special member pricing where applicable.
Types of Benefits Available
Depending on the pack or subscription, customers may enjoy:
Automatic discounts on sessions/classes, products, or services.
Special member pricing on selected items.
Guest/buddy passes to bring friends along.
Exclusive access to special events.
Product benefits (like complimentary shoe hire).
How to Set Up Member Benefits
You can set up member benefits via Products > Discounts.
To create a new member benefit, let's take the example of a 10% discount on selected sessions and classes for our Monthly Bronze and concession subscription customers:
Navigate to Products > Discounts.
Click on 'Create new discount'.
Enable ‘Make a member benefit’.
Select the passes, packs, or subscriptions that qualify for the benefit.
Enter the discount percentage (e.g., 10%).
Choose whether the discount applies to all items or specific items only.
Select the applicable items from Class types and/or Passes, packs & subscriptions (in this case, just class types).
Set the Status to ‘Active’.
Click ‘Save’ and confirm your new member benefit discount appears in the list.
How to Use Benefits
Benefits are applied automatically when a customer:
Adds eligible items to their basket.
Proceeds to checkout – eligible discounts will be applied automatically.
As operators, when assigning a customer to a POS transaction, any eligible member benefits will be applied to the relevant items.
Here's an example:
Example 1: An operator manually books a customer into a session/class. The customer has an eligible member benefit, which is automatically applied to their basket.
Example 2: A customer books a session online through the service store. They have an active subscription (that doesn't include session/class credits). They purchase a session credit, and the 10% member benefit discount is automatically applied to their basket.

Important Notes
Benefits are applied automatically – no discount codes are needed.
Benefits apply both online and in-person.
Some benefits may have usage limits or expiry dates.
Benefits cannot usually be combined with other promotional discounts.
