Setting up a punch pack

This guide will help you set up a punch pack on Clava's admin panel.

Head to the Products > Passes & Subscriptions section on the admin sidebar.

Setting Up the Punch Pack:

  1. Click 'Create New'.

  2. Fill in the basic details:

    • Title: Main name of the punch pack.

    • Subtitle: A short description.

    • Description: Detailed explanation of the punch pack.

    • Additional Settings:

      • Status: Make the punch pack purchasable by setting it to "Active".

      • VIP/Priority Booking: Allow customers to book classes exceeding the limit (controlled in Booking & Timetable settings).

      • Delayed Start: Give customers the option to choose their start date.

      • Corporate: Restrict purchase to corporate entities only.

      • PT / Instructors: Limit purchase to personal trainers or instructors.

      • Hidden: Hide the punch pack publicly (will not appear in your service store timetable or widget) and use a private URL for access.

  3. Set Publishing Options:

    • Active From: Date the punch pack becomes available for purchase.

    • Active To: Date to remove the punch pack from sale (optional).

  4. Click 'Create'.

Setting Up Pricing Options:

  1. Click 'Add New Pricing Option'.

  2. Title the option (e.g., Standard, Concession).

  3. Add an optional Description.

  4. Set the Price.

  5. Choose Pack for the Punch Pack setup.

    • Note: This option cannot be changed later.

  6. Membership runs indefinitely, activate to give the customer an in-definitive amount of time to use the pass, or add a time limit.

Setting Up Usage:

  1. Define Credits and their usage:

    • Assign Specific Credits: Set up individual credit options.

    • Number of Credits: Total number of credits and their application (e.g., Passes (general entry), Classes (for booking scheduled classes), Courses (for booking courses). e.g for a 10 day pass punch pack, you would assign 10 credits for Passes.

Additional Options:

  1. Pricing Option Status: Set the option to Active or Inactive.

  2. Freeze Option: Allow customers to freeze their pack or subscription (configure settings like number of freezes, max duration, and fees).

  3. Auto Renew: If this feature is enabled, the pack will automatically renew and charge the customer's card on file once their credits are depleted or the pack reaches it's expiration date - whichever comes first. However, this option cannot be used if this pricing option is designated as an introductory offer.

Restrictions:

  1. Location: Limit to specific locations.

  2. Age: Restrict purchase based on age.

  3. Off Peak: Designate the pack or subscription for off-peak hours.

Final Steps:

  1. Click 'Create New' after configuring all options

  2. Upon purchase, the punch pack will be available to sell via POS or online via your Service store or widget.

Remember:

  • Pack billing options can be edited at an individual customer level after purchase e.g changing expiration dates or adding/removing credits etc.

  • Clava offers a powerful tool for building diverse pricing structures.
