Clava Fair Access Policy Guide
This guide will help you understand and configure Clava's Fair Access Policy (FAP) to prevent booking abuse and manage member class bookings.
What is FAP?
FAP is a global setting that allows you to limit the number of classes a member with UNLIMITED sessions as a membership option in USAGE - can book at any given time. This helps ensure fair access to classes for all members and prevents individuals from booking excessive slots.
Enabling FAP
Select a subscription product with UNLIMITED session credits available to it, (in the USAGE section of the subscription product setup).
Enable the FAP policy toggle
Select the maximum number of sessions a customer can book in that day.
Save
Navigate to settings > Fair Access Policy.
Enable the FAP option.
Disabling FAP
Disabling FAP removes the booking limit functionality from your system. It also removes any previously applied FAP settings from your existing memberships.
Benefits of FAP
Prevents Booking Abuse: Stops individuals from booking a large number of classes, ensuring fairer access for all members.
Manages Class Availability: Helps maintain a balance between member preferences and available class slots.
