Understanding Date Forward
Date Forward is a strategy designed to keep course prices competitive for late arrivals. By pro-rating the cost of a course as it progresses, you can attract more members and maximise enrollment. Once enabled in the course setting, members can sign up for any future date on a course, likewise, admins can manually add a member to a course and choose a present/future start date.
navigation: Schedule > “+” button > New Course
You have two features here to offer flexibility to your customer base:
Date forward enrollment: Allows clients to sign up after the start of the course. They're signed up for every class from that point forward.
Note: The cost of the course that customers pay will automatically be pro-rated based on the number of remaining sessions.

Allow single session booking / open enrollment: Allow the sessions to be booked individually and paid either with a course session membership or per session.
How Pro-Rating Courses works
The system will make the following calculations once you input the cost of the course during the course creation process:
Determine the total course cost: Calculate the full price of the course.
Calculate the course sessions: Determine the total number of sessions in the course.
Calculate the per session costs: Divides the total cost by the total sessions.
Calculate the pro-rated cost: Multiply the session cost by the remaining number of sessions.
Example:
Total course cost: £1000
Course sessions: 10
Session cost: £1000 / 10 sessions = £100/session
Pro-Rated cost for a member joining in week 6: £100/session * 4 sessions = £400
