This guide explains how to create membership packs or subscriptions that are only valid for certain class types. This allows you to offer targeted memberships, like a "Yoga Only" option, to your members.
Setup:
Before creating these restricted memberships, ensure you have already set up your class types and categories. Refer to our help article for guidance: Link to Class Types & Categories Help Article.
Navigation: Products > Passes & Subscriptions > Create New
Creating a Restricted Membership:
Create New Membership: Click the button labeled "Create New" to initiate the membership creation process.
Fill in Basic Details: Enter the desired title, description, and any other relevant information for your membership.
Add Pricing Option(s): Click on "Add new pricing option" to define the pricing details for your membership.
Usage: Toggle the “Specific credits” to enable the credits to be selected for Sessions and if required Course Sessions.
Complete the "Options" Section.
Location Restriction: If you are operating a multi-site, decide if this membership is limited by location.
Age Restriction: Choose if the membership is Age Restricted. For assistance on adding age restrictions, see **this guide.**
Customer Type: Choose if the membership is restricted by Customer Type. For assistance on adding customer types, see this guide.
Off Peak. Toggle to define is the membership is Off Peak.
Permitted class types. Selecting this drop down will allow you to restrict the Session credit usage to select classes.
Restricting Class Access:
(Note: This option will only be visible if "Classes" was enabled in the previous step)
Find "Restrictions" Section: Scroll down to the "Restrictions" section within your pricing option settings.
Select Classes: Click on the dropdown menu labeled "Class type restrictions"
Choose Class Types: Choose the specific class types that members with this pricing option can access. You can select multiple class types if you want the membership to be valid for several categories.
Completing the Membership:
Once you've defined the pricing and class access restrictions, complete the setup process for the membership by configuring any remaining options and clicking "Save Changes."
